Why this conference
Islam Net in cooperation with Aker Property invites you to an educational conference on Islam that will consist of several lectures given by Shaykh Khalid Yasin. The conference will take place 11 and 12 June in Oslo, 13. and 14. june in Kristiansand. Everyone is welcome regardless of gender, ethnicity or religious affiliation.
Through this conference we want to create dialogue between Muslims and the Norwegian Society of topical themes and focusing on Islam's greatest Prophet, Muhammad (PBUH). What is the background for the choice of topic, Muhammad - The man and his message is as follows:
1.57 billion of the world population, almost every fourth person is
practicing Islam, according to new report.
38 million Muslims living in Europe, which represents 5 percent of the
total European population.
[AP 2/12/2010]
Nor it is particularly fortunate for society that Halvor Tjønn has released a very misleading book about Muhammad (PBUH). This book helps to spread Islamophobia. With respect to the above, Islam Net invites all Norwegians to open dialogue about who this man - Muhammad (PBUH) - really was.
