بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Friendliness (ISLAH) between people

Allah (SWT) says:

In most of their secret talks there is no good: But if one exhorts to a deed of charity or justice or conciliation between men, (Secrecy is permissible): To him who does this, seeking the good pleasure of Allah, We shall soon give a reward of the highest (value). ”. Annisaa 114

By this, Allah (SWT) is stating how important Islah between people is. He promise a big reward to those who conciliate between people in conflict. It matters to care. Those who conciliate will keep the relationship between the Muslims alive in front of those who doesn't care.

The Prophet (SAAW) said: ”Would you like to know what is better than fasting, prayer and charity? He said conciliation between the Muslims, be careful and avoid conflicts among you, for truly it is a clean shave. I don't mean shaving the head, but shaving the faith”. Abu Dawood.

In the book of Imam Ahmed it says that the Prophet (SAAW) asked to have some rules written down:

Each and one shall know his place, call to what is good, prescribe what is right, and forbid what is wrong, and be tolerant mellom muslimer. These rules were read and accepted by the people of Madina (Ansar) and the emigrants (Mohajirin).

The Prophet (SAAW) made this to become compulsory tasks for the Muslims through all times. To keep all people in peace with each other and no door open for Satan to slip in through. As we know, Satan can take advantage of situations and create conflict between people. Satan has given up trying to drive the Muslims away from their faith, and is rather using other methods, like creating conflicts between Muslims.

Therefor the requst of a Muslim experiencing conflicts between other Muslims is to make an effort and try to consiliate between them, so Satan will be kept out, and they can reunite.

Allah (SWT) say: ”… and reconciliation is better,” Annisaa 128.

The best solutions comes with tolerance.

Allah (SWT) asked us to to take every opportunity which leads us to conciliation, for He (SWT) says: ”... So fear Allah, and keep straight the relations between yourselves” Alanfal 01.

The Prophet (SAAW) confirm this in a Hadith: Abu Huraira (raa) said that Allahs messenger (SAAW) said:
”Every time the sun rises one should give a charity for every bone in a humans body. To conciliate between two is a charity, to help a person up on his riding animal, or helping him to load it, is a charity, the good word is a charity, every step you take on the road to the prayer is a charity, to remove harmful items from the road is a charity.

From the Hadith one see that there are many ways which can lead Muslims to peace and harmony. The Prophet (SAAW) based it all on conciliation and caring. When a Muslim get into trouble it become our duty to help in ways we can.

For us to get acceptance from Allah (SWT) as well as reach higher level in reward, we are requested to practice what we have heard today.

We ask Allah (SWT) to guide us to what he likes and accept. Ameen
