Alnor Senter invites all Muslims to participate in The Night Prayer the last 10 days of Ramadan. The Night Prayer starts

Thursday night (10.09.09) at 00.45, and is held every night 1.5 hour before Fajr in the Mosque.

THE PROPHET (SAAW) SAID:

"Whoever establishes
the prayers on the night
of Qadr out of sincere
faith and hoping to
attain Allah's rewards
(not to show off) then
all his past sins will be
forgiven."

LAYLATUL KHADR

Imagine a night greater than all other nights. A night so special that Allah
Almighty has named it the Night of Power in the Holy Quran. A night so
tremendous that the reward of your worship will be multiplied to that of a
thousand months. This is none other than Allah's Promise, and His
Promise is true.
“Lo! We revealed it on the Night of Power.
Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Night of Power is! The Night of Power is better than a thousand months.
The angels and the Spirit descend therein, by the permission of
their Lord, with all decrees.
(That night is) Peace until the rising of the dawn.”

(Qur’an, Surat al-Qadr: 97)

Aisha related that the Prophet said: Look for Lailat al-Qadr on an odd-numbered night during the

last ten nights of Ramadan (Bukhari).

Anas ibn Malik related that Rasulullah said: When Laylat al-Qadr comes Gabriel descends with a

company of angels who ask for blessings on everyone who is remembering Allah, whether they

are sitting or standing (Baihaqi).

Allah's Messenger (Sal-allahu-aleihi-wasallam) used to exert himself in devotion during the last

ten nights to a greater extent than at any other time.

Narrated by Ayesha (Radi Allah Ta'lah Anha); Muslim transmitted it.

Ayesha (Radi Allah Ta'lah Anha) asked Allah's Messenger (Sal-allahu-aleihi-wasallam) to tell

her what prayers to say on Laylat al-Qadr if she knew which night it was, and he told her to

say, "O Allah, Thou art forgiving and lovest forgiveness, so forgive me."

Narrated by Ayesha (Radi Allah Ta'lah Anha); Ahmad, Ibn Majah and Tirmidhi transmitted it.

2091 of Mishkat al-Masabih.

The Prophet (Sal-allahu-aleihi-wasallam) said, "Whoever establishes the prayers on the night of

Qadr out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah's rewards (not to show off) then all his past

sins will be forgiven."

Narrated by Abu Hurairah (Radi Allah Ta'lah Anhu); Sahih Bukhari transmitted it. Vol 1:#34
