Alnor Center wishes to send their
condolences to all families and individuals who have lost a close
relative in the incredable terror attack that yesterday took place in
Oslo and the island Utøya.
On behalf of Muslims in northern
Norway, we will express our deepest sympathy to all families affected by
this tragedy, whom is in our thoughts and prayers.
Alnor Center are deeply shocked by
the terror attacks that hit downtown Oslo and youth at Utøya. When a
person, or group considers civilians as targets, it is an expression of
enormous evil, which Islam strongly condemns.
Oslo
Terrorism is a common enemy for
Muslims, Christians, and other faiths and belifs. Therefore, we must
stand together in the fight against terrorism and all its
manifestations.
Terrorism has no nationality and is
not affiliated with a particular religion. It strikes hard, brutal, and
without prior notice. It is a threat to freedom, justice, human rights,
human dignity, and peace.
Therefore, we must stand together,
regardless of ethnicity, religion or belief, and will not allow
terrorism to destroy, and to create fear and mistrust, in our country.
We must stand together for our country´s security to be intact, and that
all its citizens should have, and feel that they have, a safe, stable
and free society to live in.
Need to talk to someone?
Alnor Center offers to arrange conversations for those who feel they need to talk to someone in connection with these incidents, please take contact by phone 41106574 or post@alnor.no to arrange a meeting.
