New Hand book on religion in the workplace
The Equality and Anti-Discrimination Ombud (LDO)
has published a new book about religion in the workplace.
The new handbook provides an overview of employees' rights and
obligations.
The handbook can help solve problems and prevent conflicts
related to the individual employee's religious practices.
The book "Religion in the workplace" is divided into chapters:
* Praying during
working hours / prayer room.
* Religious
headwear and symbols.
* The right to time off
in connection with acts or religious holidays.
*
Ramadan.
* Food and drink.
* Duties of employees
* Mission Calling in the workplace
* Language use and
discussion.
* Gender and
homosexuality.
